Draymond enters the Mayweather/McGregor beef!

One of the most anticipated fights of all time is almost here. On August 26, 2017, boxing legend, Floyd Mayweather will battle UFC great, Conor McGregor in Las Vegas, Nevada. Despite this being Conor McGregor’s first time boxing, as well as fighting a man who has never lost in his career, Conor seems more confident than ever. Being one of the best trash talkers in the world, he has used every opportunity to prove to fans that he is the better fighter by embarrassing the hell out of Floyd Mayweather. At their first promotional event, Conor took his trash talking to another level. He came dressed in a custom tailored suit that had pin stripes with the words “FUCK YOU” on it!

Its probably one of the most creative ways to piss somebody off that I ever seen. Throughout the entire event, Conor did his best to make fun of everything Mayweather did. He talked about his outfit, saying he was dressed like a little kid wearing his backpack. He made reference that Mayweather couldn’t read, and even went as far as to disrespect Mayweather by calling him“Boy”. All and all, Conor completely embarrassed Floyd Mayweather and made himself a crowd favorite among millions of fans. Everyone except Draymond Green.

Over the weekend, Conor McGregor decided to cross the line even further. He posted a picture of him wearing a #23, old school Warriors jersey. Now this might not seem like a big deal to most people, but the meaning behind it is very deep.  Back in 2010, Floyd Mayweather was arrested for domestic violence and was sentenced to 90 days in jail. It was reported that Floyd and his girlfriend got into a heated argument over another man. The other man was C.J Watson, a point guard who was playing for the Golden State Warriors at the time. The jersey that Conor McGregor was wearing was C.J Watson’s.

Draymond Green who now wears #23 for the Golden State Warriors, didn’t like the fact that Conor was wearing what he thought was his jersey, and decided to speak on it via Instagram. He posted the picture of Conor and said this to him:

“We rocking with Floyd bro not you…take that off bruh @notoriousmma”

Floyd Mayweather instantly commented under the post saying: “Splash for the Cash #warriors #michigan”

Draymond Green and Floyd Mayweather are both from Michigan, so of course they are going to support one another. But Conor didn’t take his comments to well. He quickly responded to by saying:

“That’s C.J Watson mate. I don’t know who the fuck you are. No disrespect tho kid, keep hustling and stay in school.”

Now ask yourself why I’m rocking C.j when I don’t know or give a fuck about basketball. I dribble head off the floor. Not a ball. This is no game here kid.”

Conor McGregor and Draymond Green are two of the biggest trash talkers in their sports. They are basically known for it. As we come closer and closer to this fight, more and more hype continues to escalate. The shit talking is at an all-time high and now other athletes are getting involved. It’s just making everyone want to tune in August 26th to see what all of the hype is about. Draymond responded back to McGregor after, but it was clear that Conor had won the exchange between Draymond Green. With all the shit talking Conor is doing his going to be at the top of his game fighting Mayweather. Everything sounds good now but it will all change when he steps into the ring. I guess we will have to see if Conor McGregor can back his shit talking up.
